After boarding the bus we head to the market at Patate
It's Saturday morning and all types of local produce is brought to the market

Tree tomatoes (Tamarillo), used to make tree tomato aji (hot sauce).
Cotopaxi
On our bus ride back to Quito we stop at Cotopaxi National Park (Cotopaxi volcano)
Before entering the park we stop for more supplies ...
Take care of last minute business ...
Get a drink of coca leaf tea ...
Get some "fast food".
Our bus stops at the lake
The lake is at 12,870 feet of elevation and the air is thin
Not much of the volcano can be seen through the fog and light rain but the snow line can be seen.
