Our guided tour is over and it's our last full day in Ecuador. It's Sunday morning and we take a taxi to "Old Town". Because it's Sunday, there are less crowds than on our last visit to "Old Town".

Thank you for your blog about this trip - more specifically ALL the wonderful photos. I've been working on plans to go to EC, although the coast is what I want to tour. But all your pics has me very excited overall and I will now include more of the inner country as well. Absolutely beautiful photos especially flowers and insects!! What kind of camera do you use?
Kathryn - All photos were taken with a Canon PowerShot G10. After years of dragging my SLR and lens on vacation I downsized to the G10 and love it.

Your pictures are wonderful. I can't wait to go on this trip! I am wondering about the electronics on this trip? Do you really need a converter to plug in our different electronics? Or are their outlets the same as the US?
